BOOM Cycle Holborn

BOOM Cycle are redefining indoor cycling for us Londoners. Across the pond the likes of (celebrity favourite) SoulCycle have been bringing Americans the addictive, high-energy, club style cycling workouts for years & now thanks to the recent expansion to Holborn (the original site is located in Shoreditch) we have two revolutionised dedicated cycling gyms in our city.

On Monday night Two Loves London were lucky enough to be invited along to the press launch of the new fitness space. What could be a better start to the week than a sweaty, intense cycling session complete with a live DJ, good vibes & protein ice-cream?!

Shara, the lovely lady who invited us down, took the 45 minute cycle session we attended & was fantastic. I've taken part in lots of spin classes over the years & was so impressed by this workout. It was an excellent mix of high intensity strength building hill climbs & fast sprints. An element that really made the class a cut above others was the presence of the live DJ delivering current high-energy tunes to us lycra clad cyclers. The dark, clubby, disco-ball lit atmosphere really added so much energy to the room & helped the whole class push their way to the end of the workout.

Emerging quite literally dripping in sweat we were handed an awesome goodie bag stuffed with fitness-y bits & pieces and some protein ice cream courtesy of Wheyhey. Separate post coming on these treats soon!

BOOM Cycle in Holborn opens to the public at the end of January & they are offering FREE classes to everyone from the 28th January - 10th Feburary! Check them out here & try out this new style of nightclub cycling for yourself!
